XIX’s End : Louis RAISON is a wheelwright

1948 : Bernard RAISON creates the sawmill, starting with wood for coffins

1976 : Serge RAISON starts making changes:

- Drying oak for use in kitchen manufacturing

- Cooperage

- Beginning of exportation to Germany then to England

1992 : New headsaw purchase with :

- A trolley with independent bounds, one the first in France ;

- A slabber from Canada;

- A bi-cut saw blade which can pass thickness of 1m80.

2003 : Investment:

- 1000 m3 Pre-dryer

- 2000 MW boiler

2005 : Purchase 5ha of additional land

2006 : 40m3 Vacuum dryer

2010 : Hundegger K2i & beams planer : development of structures in oak.

2006 : Jean-Bernard BAHIER, Serge RAISON's son-in law takes over

 

 Today the company employs 26 people with a turnover of over 5,5 million euros
